This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items above are needed and will be used during Kindergarten Math time. The tabletop White Boards will support and engage my Kindergarten students as they work together in groups to draw, write and show their Mathematical thinking. By using white boards and dry erase markers my goal is to spark student interest with in-depth thinking in groups on numbers, counting, sorting, addition and subtraction.

During math, I want to build a better “thinking classroom” and have students think for longer periods of time, within the context of the curriculum, which leads to longer and deeper learning.
