This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students try their hardest to succeed but due to financial difficulties have a difficult time affording the necessary calculator needed for the Math class. The 7th grade curriculum is based on the use of said calculator and learning all of the function etc. This calculator is also used for the next several years of their lives. Often my students are unable to practice the homework because we only have a partial class set and they cannot take them home as we do not have enough so homework is not able to be performed which impedes on their success throughout the year.
