My Students
My students are a group of fun, ready to learn 5 and 6-year-olds.
Kindergarten is the first school experience for a lot of these kiddos, and I want to make sure it makes the best impression possible on their growing minds.
Our school is a very unique mix of fantastic students. We do what we can to reach each child's individual needs the best that we can. We work hard to help every student who comes through our door to have the best experience possible, and this project will help us be able to accomplish that.
My Project
My students will use the manipulatives not only to do math, but also to work on cooperative learning skills and social skills while playing. These items will allow my students to SEE why 3 + 7 = 10 as they arrange the objects to display that and many other problems. Hands on learning will help the knowledge engrain in their minds for the rest of their lives.
This project will improve my students lives by opening their eyes to the wide variety of ways that you can solve math problems all while they think they are playing.
