My Project

My students ages and abilities range from kindergarten to fifth grade. I am an interventionist and my job is to support students who need a little extra to reach their grade level goals.

My students work hard every day to accomplish things that may seem easy to others.

It's not that they can't achieve it, it's that they need it presented in a different way. These math manipulatives let them see the math world around them in a way they can truly "grasp" by physically seeing and doing the math with their hands.

When the connection is made, the smiles increase and the children get EXCITED about their learning. Suddenly what seemed like a difficult challenge, becomes an exciting challenge they can and will conquer.
