Math Magnified: A Puzzle Wall for Problem Solvers

Help me give my students an early finisher puzzle wall to challenge them and keep them engaged in critical thinking!

My Project

I absolutely love how curious, creative, and capable my students are. They bring unique problem-solving strategies and a willingness to take on challenges, especially when learning feels engaging and hands-on.

With the recent Arkansas law banning cell phones in classrooms, it’s more important than ever to offer meaningful alternatives that keep students focused and stimulated.

This project will help me create a dedicated puzzle wall - a space where early finishers can choose from a variety of logic, number, and pattern-based puzzles. I already have several paper-based logic puzzles I will use in my class, but I really want to give the students some hands on options as well. The magnetic boards, pouches, and display materials will make the puzzles easily accessible and changeable throughout the year.

These resources will encourage perseverance, critical thinking, and independent learning, while also giving students a productive and rewarding way to use their extra time.
