As a teacher in an amazing school, where the atmosphere is conducive for student learning and creates opportunities to build positive student-teacher relationships, I look for innovative ideas that will help create a growth mindset and build inquiry skills.
I've also learned that working with children, relationship building is the most important component of their education journey.
Inquiry builds from their trust in their teacher. Despite their academic challenges, the willingness to grow and learn outweighs any deficits they seem to possess as learners because the foundation of trust has been laid.
They are creative, outgoing, and enthusiastic about learning. The students enjoy reading and participating in student-led activities. They enjoy moving, brain breaks, and using manipulatives for hands-on experiences. They enjoy working in an inclusive setting where they can build relationships with regular ed peers, and not feel inadequate. I have set an atmosphere of positive thinking within my classroom, and each student has learned to believe in themselves with determination and perseverance.
I am truly proud to teach an amazing group of students and look forward to providing one of the best school years for my students. I seek for my students to be trailblazers for their generation.
Many children aren't able to connect literacy with math concepts. They struggle with understanding how the two connect. I've added math storytelling opportunities in our classroom to help my students connect literacy and math. The items needed for this project will help provide students with real-world connections of how to apply math to their everyday life. This will help them solve problems and become critical thinkers.
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
In order for that to take place, I've added several items to this project to help increase my students' thinking skills in the area of mathematics.
I've added the gigantic magnetic graph paper to use as a teaching tool to help my children better understand arrays.
This product, as well as the others, will change how students see math, fostering a love for the subject and increasing awareness of math and science. I am pleased to present these products knowing that my students are going to prosper in the long run.
