My Students
We have a diverse school with many needs.
We have students that are gifted and talented and need to be challenged.
We have students with learning disabilities that need extra time, support, and attention in order to be successful. We have students of all races and backgrounds. We have students with ADD/ADHD, autism, emotional disturbances, and other disabilities. Each child is precious and valued and each has their own unique talents and abilities. All deserve a good education and the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and loving environment.
My Project
All of our students want to learn to feel successful in math. This year, we as a second grade will have a set time for math intervention.
As I am working with small groups of students for math intervention, I want to make sure that my others students are at math centers that are working on specific needs of 2nd grade math concepts.
The donation of independent math learning centers will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in our math concepts. Thank you for helping our class to succeed in math and beyond. Your consideration is appreciated.
