Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a very curious and engaged group of students who love math. They started kindergarten wanting to learn everything they could about numbers. Some students were already meeting goals that were for the end of kindergarten. Others had never even been in a classroom and were just learning numbers 1-10. No matter the level, all students are eager and engaged during math time.
Students will love theses games that will target their individual math needs.
They are so excited to learn and expand their number knowledge. The double sided number magnet tiles will help students with number recognition and later simple equations. The number counting game, counting links, foundational skills game bundle will also help build number recognition. The grab and play math set, find the number activities and mastering addition Dominos will help enrich learning for student that are advanced. The monster math balance game will be a fun way to teach and explore addition problems. All of these games will help create collaborative math experiences that will be hands on and fun.
