Math Made Simple with Manipulatives

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of students in grades tk-5th grade who have a wide range of learning abilities. Many of my students face challenges when it comes to traditional classroom learning, and they often struggle with abstract math concepts. That's why I'm reaching out for your help to bring hands-on leaning tools into our classroom that will make math more accessible and enjoyable for my students.

My students are bright and eager learners who have a various learning disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders , ADHD, and other specific needs.

Math can be challenging for my students, especially when they can't see or touch the concepts we're learning about. That's why I am asking for your help in bringing hands-on tools into our classroom to make math fun and understandable.

Help my students grasp key math concepts like fractions, geometry, and basic math operations, we needs tools that allow them to physically manipulate numbers and shapes. With your support I can purchase geometric shapes sets to explore shapes, symmetry and measurement. I can also purchase math board games to make learning multiplication and division fund and interactive.
