Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Together these math tools and manipulatives promote active learning, differentiation, and student engagement. These materials support small group instruction and independent practice. They will be valuable for building foundational math skills in fun, interactive ways.

These amazing tools will make abstract concepts more concrete.

Kids often struggle when math is just numbers on paper. Manipulatives like these allow students to see, touch, and move numbers to understand operations, place value, and comparisons.

It is imperative that students build a strong number sense. Tools like ten frames, number lines, and number bonds help students recognize patterns, understand part-whole relationships, and develop mental math strategies. The Ice cream counters and pop it ten frames turn math learning into play. This increases student interest and reduces math anxiety.
