Help me give my students the tools to challenge their mathematical thinking through the use of hands-on manipulatives such as write wipe boards, markers, and magnetic writing pages!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students are mathematicians!!!! We have come so far from just simply adding and subtracting! They show perseverance through every concept and have always tried their absolute best! To challenge them and continue their mathematical success, we need these dry erase place value boards! We are beginning to add and subtract double digit numbers and what better tool to help us succeed than these amazing dry erase place value boards! These boards will even challenge our thinking further by allowing us to use the hundreds place for our addition and subtraction.
