My Project

I have been teaching for 8 years and currently teach in a high school special education classroom with students who have a wide range of intellectual, social, and emotional needs. Many of my students are in lower income households. My students range from 9th through 12th grades and require different ways to learn the skills they need to help them grow and become independent.

With the supplies in this project, my students will be able to move closer to their goals by advancing their abilities with money, math, and beginning literacy stages.

The hands-on materials and tasks are what help them grasp new concepts and progress to learn how to understand the concept of numbers and letters.
