Help me give my students supplies for their math learning kits such as dry erase pockets, multiplication stickers, file folders, and construction paper.
The families of my 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have chosen our virtual learning option. The Virtual Learning Option is one of the very few virtual learning choices in the state of Louisiana that is operated by a public school system. Our virtual learning option is 100% free to families. The public school system is able to provide a Chromebook and a set of math workbooks to each student. However, there are other math materials that our virtual students need to foster their learning at home, and we simply have no funding to provide these materials.
Most of the students we serve are on the lower rung of the socioeconomic ladder.
This project will help me create math learning kits to send home with each of my students. In order for me to be able to provide the very best education for my students, I need them to have these math materials at home so that each student can actively engage and participate in our live virtual lessons. To create the math learning kits, I need printer ink, file folders, construction paper, and card stock. I would also like for each student to have a dry erase pocket and a multiplication sticker. These math learning kits will give my students an opportunity to actively engage in their own learning.
