Help me give my students the materials and supplies that will be used to ensure that all students have access to supplies needed to encourage small math centers while I am teaching my small group.
I teach a lovely class of 21 kindergarten students. Developmental kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune. My classroom is about building skills and watching these little minds grow into amazing life long learners.
The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions, and accessing general education content in different ways.
We celebrate little wins together each day. My students will use these center items to work with in their seats and learn safely and comfortably. These items will help build creativity and hand eye coordination. Magnets are a big thing in my classroom and my students love to work with them in any manner. These resources will give my students time to relax and do something they love while still using their brains.
