Hello! The school year is upon us, and I am super excited to get it going! This year I am very passionate about getting teaching aids my students would enjoy for math. During COVID-19, they worked hard, but there was still a loss in this academic area. Foundational gaps are hindering many 5th graders back as they transition to middle school, and I don't want that for my students. Instead, I want to use the incredible resources listed in my project to provide them with an additional approach to mastering some of these challenging mathematics concepts. Another unfortunate remnant of the pandemic is the shortened attention spans which can make focusing within a classroom a challenge for some students. I believe the wiggle seats, bouncy bands and sensory items listed in my project can assist with this for students who require assistance with focus tools in a classroom.
