Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager learners and are always finding new ways to explore their natural environment. They are preschoolers and it is typical of them to find and explore new ways for trial and error. Therefore, my students find joy and motivation when given a variety of tools to be able to do hands on learning and be able to have visual representation of the skill they are practicing.
My goal for this project is for my students to continue to develop their math skills.
They are learning how to count, sort, and make patterns on their own. The Lakeshore Feed activities will be another way for my students to develop stronger fine motor skills and at the same time sorting each item by color or category. Lakeshore Nuts About Patterning! will allow them to practice how to make patterns using different tools to do math.
