Help me give my students the necessary resources needed to promote their engagement in math and discover its purpose for their lives.

My Project

Transitioning to middle school brings challenges both socially and academically. Many students experience an easier transition when the resources that they utilize are engaging and provide real-world applications.

Particularly with math, many students experience a disconnect when they find it disengaging and when their fail to discover its purpose.

This disconnect can be greatly minimized with appropriate and engaging activities and math games that build upon foundational math skills and connect with real world applications.

As a result, I will utilize the"Real World Math: Unexpected Events Applying Math Concepts to Everyday Life" game to help students see the relevance of math skills and real life applications and to deepen their interest in math. The "Elevate Prep Target Math Game" and "The Happiest Math Wiz Game" will be used to improve problem-solving skills and boost mathematical confidence. The "Math Rush Games" will be used to promote engagement and collaboration in problem-solving while reinforcing foundational math skills. The "UPMSX Joyful Mathematics Game" will promote critical thinking and problem-solving in an engaging Tic-Tac-Toe format.
