Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to have effective math centers that will allow my students to have more choices and targeted specific objectives. I will be using the Lakeshore Double Dice, It’s a Snap! Counting Center, Magnetic Ten-Frames Builders and the rest of the materials for their math stations daily rotations. I agree with Daniels and Bizar "Literacy (math) centers promote student collaboration, facilitate student motivation, and provide targeted practice for students." Another additional advantage of having effective math centers is language, when kids get engage they are talking among each other and learning from one another. This is a critical skill in kindergarten. I want nothing more than my student to be successful and this project will contribute to their success. Thank you in advance.
