This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first grade students learn better when actively engaging in their learning.
Math manipulatives help all students learn no matter their learning style, language barriers, or any learning impediment.
Math games help engage students and encourage collaboration while learning. The giant magnetic shapes, and money will help me teach students during money and geometry lessons. The dry erase board will help them work out math problems during whole group instruction.
I teach at a Title I school and my students have diverse backgrounds. Providing these necessary tools will help ensure all of my student’s needs are met.
