Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I truly enjoy teaching math and having my students feel like they can be successful in math is incredibly important to me. I teach middle school students with learning disabilities. Most of them lack the foundational skills necessary to be successful when working on grade-level topics in their general education classroom and on standardized tests. I'm excited about receiving these engaging and diverse math games to capture the attention and interest of my students. Through play, my students will continue developing basic math facts and develop problem-solving skills through strategy games.

Recognizing the significance of hands-on activities and interactive games, my vision is to create a learning environment that makes math fun and deepens their understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts.
