Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I really started to focus on Math centers. I’ve noticed the more hands on the activities were the more engaged students were. The materials were selected for this project to make math more engaging.

Math is FUNdamental and we can create the fun by making Math more hands on.

Included are shopping baskets and play groceries. Students will be able to make clear real world connections using what they learned about decimals and multiplication. Also included are fraction and decimal games. These games allow students to focus on grade level standards in which they need high level thinking and peer collaboration. Lastly, included is a TPT gift card which will allow me to purchase specific enjoyable math projects for centers.

Please help students find the fun and creative aspects of math by supporting this project. We truly want to bring out the fun in Math.
