This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love learning! Their thirst for knowledge and to explore the areas that they do not know is motivating and inspiring. Seeing how their little brains makes connections between the two languages they speak is fascinating. I love helping them learn in both Spanish and English. These materials are useful in helping them visually see and comprehend the concept of numbers. Understanding the how and why we count. It is so important for students to learn to visualize and numbers and comprehend that it's not a abstract concept, rather a measurable concept that has real meaning.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Math is important, and for many of my students who have never been in school, these manipulatives and activities can truly help increase their academic success.
