My Project
High schoolers are many things—brilliant, curious, hilarious—but let’s be honest… prepared isn’t always one of them. On any given day, at least five students stroll into my math classroom with zero writing utensils and a look that says, “Wait… we need a pencil for math?”
That’s where you come in.
With your help, I’m hoping to stock up on pens and pencils that students can grab without the whole “Can I borrow one?” routine. We’ll also use storage containers to keep all our supplies from vanishing into the chaos that is the high school backpack abyss. A big, bold calendar will help everyone (including me) remember when reviews, quizzes, and other math milestones are coming up—because time flies when you’re graphing parabolas.
These supplies may seem simple, but in my classroom, they’re the secret to fewer distractions, smoother routines, and fewer “I forgot my pencil” excuses. Help us stay organized, focused, and maybe even a little less chaotic.
