Math Is Always Fun!

My Students

My students all share a love for math! Everyday is a new math adventure. My students all have different math expertise that they bring to the classroom! My students love hands-on math, working with their hands allows them to experience math in a different way!

From the minute that they enter my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth.

By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.

My Project

We will use our flashlights to make reading fun! We will turn the classroom lights off and read with our flashlights! Fridays will be designated for, Flashlight Fridays! A new cash register will help my students to learn money concepts. It will also help reinforce their addition and subtraction skills. The Add It Up Archery Set will provide a fun and interactive way to practice addition.

When math becomes interactive it provides an opportunity for the students to discuss their mathematical thinking.

This will provide them with a deeper understanding and allow for other math ideas to be introduced through their interaction.
