They enjoyed making their tabs with their names on them and then personalizing their file folders. This helps them locate their file much more quickly and easily. \r\n\r\nThe colored pencils, markers, and glue sticks are a must when you are working with interactive notebooks. Students love to use color to organize their notes and they need them for certain activities as well. A lot of times I use guided notes that I want them to add to their notebook and the glue sticks help make this possible. \r\n\r\nAll of these materials are necessary to help keep my middle school students organized and responsible. Often, they do not have the necessary materials or they are not responsible. These materials allow me to avoid those issues. I cannot express my gratitude enough. I can already tell the difference with our new novel study from the last one. They are so much more focused and are enjoying reading days now! They like to use the cushions on their chairs too. We have started using the tennis balls, rackets, and grip tape already this season. I take the first aid kit to practice and will be taking it to our tournaments and matches. Some of the tennis balls will be saved for our second annual tri! We hosted our first tri match last year and cannot wait to host our second this year. \r\n\r\nOur tennis players were so excited when they saw all of our items come in. I have quite a few in class and they wanted to immediately help me open the boxes, and unwrap everything! \r\n\r\nAs we continue to grow the middle school tennis program, we cannot wait for future plans to extend the program and reach even more kids who might be interested in learning to play tennis.
