My Project

This is my first-year teaching math intervention classes after being a 5th grade teacher for 22 years. I had to move to a smaller classroom (it use to be a smelly old book room) that contained musty old books and moldy bookshelves. The school custodial staff cleaned the room thoroughly, repainted and it is a very comfortable and cozy room to deliver small group instruction. I am in need of an adjustable "horseshoe" shaped small group table to teach intervention math classes. I see a total of 40 students each day in groups of 5-6 students. I use a variety of math manipulatives to teach students that are 2 years or more behind in math. I need to help these students develop their numeracy skills to be successful in their homeroom grade level classrooms.
