This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third grade scholars need hands-on manipulatives to help make challenging concepts mor concrete, accessible, and engaging. These tools will help model their thinking, explore various strategies, and develop a deeper understanding of the math they are learning.

With these resources, students will be able to use these manipulatives during whole group lessons, independent practice, and math small groups.

They will use these tools to strengthen their skills in multiplication, division, fractions, and problem solving. Your support will help my students feel more confident, explain their mathematical thinking, and see themselves as mathematicians.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
