Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my 10th-grade Geometry students unlock their full potential! My students are eager learners who come to class ready to tackle new challenges, but they need the right tools to succeed. By providing calculators, you will help them develop essential math skills and gain confidence in problem-solving.

Our school serves a diverse group of students, many of whom come from low-income families.

Despite facing various obstacles, my students show up every day ready to learn and grow. They are hardworking, curious, and determined to succeed in their academic journey. However, limited access to resources often makes it difficult for them to fully engage with the curriculum.

In Geometry, calculators play a critical role in helping students explore complex mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, area, volume, and coordinate geometry. With reliable calculators, students can focus on understanding the logic behind the math instead of struggling with basic computations. Having a class set of calculators will ensure that every student has equal access to this essential tool, leveling the playing field and allowing them to thrive.

Your support will empower my students to build their mathematical confidence and improve their academic performance. Calculators will not only help them succeed in Geometry but also prepare them for future math courses and standardized tests. With your generosity, we can provide the tools they need to unlock their full potential and set them on a path to success.

Thank you for considering our classroom project and for making a difference in the lives of these amazing students!
