My students need Math in Minutes! Skill-Building Center and timers to help build their basic math skills.

Can you read a clock? Do you know how much money is in your wallet? What about more basic skills such as addition and subtraction? Not everyone does. Students need to practice these skills in as many ways as possible, and we're in need of more hands-on ways for ours to engage mathematics.
We have twenty six active learners who love to do anything hands on or interactive.
They do not always do well with tests or written work, but when they get to actively work with a concept, they really shine! It is always a joy to see their eyes light up when they're playing a learning game or working with charts and activities, since we know they are really learning.
We need Math in Minutes! Skill-Building Center and timers to help build their basic math skills. These items will let the students interact with math in a way that is individual, but still active. It's a far better way for students to apply their skills than just another worksheet would be, and they can show off their accomplishments to the class when they get things right. That means they will not only be learning the concepts that we're establishing, but gaining self-confidence.
These students will learn the basic concepts such as addition and subtraction, as well as more advanced concepts like money, time, distance, fractions, among others.
These are the building blocks for all future mathematics courses, and essential for day-to-day life. Without these skills, they will not be able to handle themselves in the real world, and we want to make sure they can live up to their fullest potential.
