This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Working in small group communities is a daily activity goal in my classroom, especially in math. Using the workshop model in math, students come to the table with whiteboards for guided practice. The tables allow me to see exactly what they are doing in a small setting, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to get the extra practice they need to capture the math lesson when working in small groups. The tables and supplies (grid paper and pencils) would be a great addition to the classroom.
