My Project

My class of first graders love math! They are disappointed if a day goes by when we don't have math stations. One of their favorite stations is math games.

Having a strong sense of number is an essential foundational skill for becoming confident and proficient in math skills.

When students are building their number sense in the form of a game, they beg to practice.

There are almost endless games that students can play with dice and playing cards. It will be so helpful to have more of these in the classroom.
