Help me give my students math manipulatives to build their math understanding. My students struggle with multiplication fluency and seeing the connection to division, so the Multiplication and Division Unknown Quantities Flashcards will help them with multiplication.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
How can you reach students with all kinds of academic and personal differences? My students have so many challenges to face before they even show up to school.
My students are 4th and 5th graders from a low income area of Sacramento, who exhibit a joy of learning but are struggling with creating a strong education due to a variety of challenges in their day to day lives.
Some students have recently migrated from another country, others do not have English speakers at home and still others are acting as the adult in the household as their parents work multiple jobs to make ends meet. With all of these tough moments in their lives, each of my students show up to school everyday and do the best they can in and out of the classroom.
My Project
Math manipulatives and games enhance the learning of math concepts for students. My students are growing up in a low socioeconomic area meaning they do not have as many opportunities as students from richer communities. I am attempting to expand their knowledge in math concepts such as multiplication through math games and other manipulatives.
By donating to this project, you will be helping my students be more engaged in math lessons as well as become stronger mathematicians.
Students will be able to build on their understanding of the math lessons through an engaging activity to reinforce the concept taught. Students learn more when given the opportunity to practice the skill in an activity based forum. Furthermore, students learn when discussing with their peers the concept taught.
