Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever played the game 24? It is a wonderful family of math games that help students improve their mental math skills. My students love playing 24 but we only have one kind and it is too easy for them. That is why I need your help. Please fund this grant so my students can play more challenging versions of 24 and improve their math skills.
My students work very hard and I would love to reward them by giving them 1 day a week to play math games. 24 happens to be one of the best and most versatile games out there. My students would buy the game themselves but 97% of them qualify for free lunches from the federal government. That means their families are struggling financially and can't afford to buy them math games.
Please help my students out by buying these games for our class. I promise that if you fund our grant I will schedule time each week for students to play these games. It will be a great help to our class and we would send you thank you notes and pictures of us playing the games. We need a kind benefactor to help us keep our math skills sharp and provide us with such a wonderful resource as the game 24. Thank you for your help!
