This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach kindergarten and my students are so excited to come to school everyday. As a kindergarten teacher it makes me feel so special that I am helping them develop their foundational skills in all academic areas. They love to see their friends every day at school and they love to explore with numbers and counting.
The learning resources I am requesting will help my students with their counting skills and cardinality as well as help them be more engaged in their learning.
With the use of fun and exciting new math games, they will love playing them with their classmates and we can adjust the groups as I see fit. These learning resources will help fill in some gaps and provided some needed support.
I am also requesting some snacks to help with their hunger needs as they get hungry in the afternoons since their lunch is quite early. These snacks will help them recharge for the rest of the afternoon. My Kinder class would be so appreciative for any support. Thank you!
