My students are not really exposed to music or instruments until much later on, if at all. They had a lot of fun watching the birds that come to the feeder camera in different habitats, as I've set it up here at school but also at my home and the homes of some of my family members to compare the species coming to the feeders in different areas. Here we get more desert species and the standard house finches and similar widespread species. We have also had the opportunity to see what birds come in a more mountainous environment, things like titmouse and golden-crowned sparrows. \r\n\r\nMy students have also really enjoyed drawing birds in their journals and keeping track of the species of birds we have seen.
