My Project
I am a math interventionist at a Title I elementary school. The supplies I am requesting would support all the kindergarten, first, and second grade students at my school. My students love to play games at school to review and reinforce the math standards they have learned. I would love to be able to regularly send home new math games with students that review the concepts they are learning about at school. Parents want to be involved to help support their children's math learning, but without fun and engaging materials, it can be challenging to excite children about math outside of the classroom. Worksheets can cause children to get frustrated and lose interest, but games make math seem more exciting.
