With the grant, I was able to acquire valuable resources that are already making a difference. For my fourth graders struggling with math fact fluency, I purchased engaging games and logic puzzle task cards. These activities have demonstrably improved their progress in mastering essential math facts.\r\nFurthermore, the whole-year review math Jeopardy games I acquired are proving to be an exciting and effective tool for preparing all students for state testing and the transition to fifth grade. These games provide opportunities for students to actively apply newly learned concepts, and their enthusiasm is palpable each time we play. The reusability of these resources ensures ongoing practice and reinforcement. I am observing significant growth in my students' math skills and a genuine enjoyment of learning through these engaging activities.\r\n\r\nThis progress would not have been possible without your investment. I wish you could've seen the excitement when I announced to each class that our scooters had been funded. I had my own personal burst of excitement when I just went online to see where I was at with funding and was completely floored when I saw it had been fulfilled. \r\n\r\nWe have had the best time using them and it has made our scooter activities a night and day difference with how much bigger and safer they are. We have been playing games such a steamboat tag, hungry hungry hippos, relay races and more since we have received them. However, I know the thing they are most looking forward to playing with the new scooters is monsters in the backyard, but they will have to wait until October for that! The anticipation is building and I know it will be such a hit this fall! \r\n\r\nI can't stress enough how much I genuinely love my job and my students and being able to give them something like this with all your help means the world. I have been wanting to get them new scooters for years and simply just did not have enough money in my budget for it. We are a smaller school and a lot of the times just have to make do and our students are great at understanding that.
