Math Games for Elementary Math Intervention

Help me give my students a love for math by the means of play and to build understanding of basic fluency and numbers and operations using games and activities outside of worksheets.

My Project

I work with elementary students from Kindergarten- Fifth Grade in math intervention. These students struggle with on grade level content and also tend to have gaps in previous understandings that make it difficult for these students to keep up in the gen-ed classroom. I currently work with 71 students ranging from K-5 in all areas of elementary math, and I want to provide them with activities outside of doing equations, number lines, 100s charts etc. The math games and activities I have ordered will allow students to learn through meaningful play and will get students more excited to come to their intervention groups. I have also requested fidget toys to be used as prizes or to be used with students I currently have who have social and emotional needs while also needing academic support.
