This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The 120 number pocket chart will help students with number sense. I will use this chart during math talks to help students see patterns, skip count, and solve arithmetic problems. This 120 pocket chart will replace our 100 number pocket chart and will allow students to see numbers and patterns past 100. The spinner can help us make choices in class, choose partners for discussions, and discuss probability. The students love the addition dominoes we currently have. More domino sets will help me share materials with more students. The subtraction domino sets will be a new tool and will help students practice subtraction.
