My school has purchased a math intervention program for small-group instruction. The program has a set of game materials that go along with the lessons. These materials include cards and game mats. My students are amazing mathematicians, and they are really enjoying these lessons. Their favorite part is playing the games, and I want to give them more opportunities to play more often.
This storage cabinet will be used to organize the game materials.
The students will easily be able to get the materials they need for partner games. One small drawer will be used to store the card games, another drawer will be used to store dice and spinners, and the large drawer will be used to store the large game mats. When the students can get the materials and clean them up easily, this will foster more independence and increase student engagement.
