Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year our fifth grade team will be trying departmentalizing. I will be teaching math! In my classroom I like to give my students the freedom to sit at their desks, the floor or on cushions to make them comfortable when learning!
I will have approximately 65 students this year and each and everyone deserves to have their personal space for their items (mailboxes).
My goal is to give everyone an equal opportunity to learn with the items I have requested. Math is a fun subject to move around!
My students are all special in their own way! Their drive to learn is impressive and I’m excited to kick start the new school year with exciting new items.
