My Project

These math workbooks are designed to cover the content needed for middle school math, that is also the math that students most need for life after school. By ensuring that our students can do this work we increase the chance that they will succeed as adults. Using this as a diagnostic tool will enable us to see where our students need help.

The gap in math ability is causing people across the nation to have problems with basic daily life.

Teachers have figured out what is missing but we still don't know how to get those skills covered without the students getting behind in their current classes. A lot of the current intervention programs that are being provided to schools go to elementary grades. As such our high school students who have fallen behind are not getting the help they need to get caught up. The hope of our education team (teachers) is that using this workbook will give the students a tangible goal and that they will see the results of their work to become motivated to improve on their own.
