Math Fluency and Number Sense

Help me give my students this daily math fluency kit. This will help build number sense in 10 minutes a day with math talk and number strings using large sized demonstration manipulatives.

My Students

My students are thoughtful, compassionate, and caring. During a share about how to make the world beautiful, many responded with pick up trash and clean the parks. They see a problem and want to make a change. They are inquisitive and curious.

My students are critical and creative thinkers.

They notice and wonder about the world around them. They work with their hands while thinking about what they are they doing. Teaching them to verbalize their thoughts is a critical skill all students need to learn.

My Project

Math in kindergarten builds on itself every quarter. Students must learn basic number sense and fluency in order to be successful mathematicians. All students can be good at math with the right foundational knowledge. By having this kit, students will become familiar with the routines and strategies of basic math concepts.

Practicing daily and using the large manipulatives students can visualize and understand math concepts in a new and exciting way.

Please help support my young learners have access to strong math routines and ways to learn and explore number sense and concepts.
