This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I feel like my students are some of the best students and we teach them to become our future. My students are in a low-income area and they lack the knowledge of how life is outside of their neighborhood.

Some of my students lost their homes and many items, due to Hurricane Harvey.

Considering all of these effects, they still come to my class eager to learn. My students are hard workers, I have students who range from being in the United States their whole lives, to students who have just arrived from El Salvador, Mexico, or Honduras.

My Project

This is project will incorporate technology into the classroom and get my students involved and interested in Math. I am asking for a camera. With this camera I want to bring math to life, I want my students to be able to see how they express themselves, be able to record presentations, and be able to edit presentations as needed.

Students learn not just from a book, now everything around them is technology, and I feel like what better way for them to be able to learn and explore.

Having this great piece of equipment will open their eyes to a new way of looking at Math.
