This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Environmental-STEM learners ready to investigate real-world problems through observation and critical thinking skills. Fourth graders are filled with curiosity and my students are eager to learn through an E-STEM lens. We are the EAGLES and are ready to soar!

My Project

Math facts fluency is essential when it comes to fourth grade math. From multiplying multi-digit numbers to identifying equivalent fractions, students who master multiplication and division facts are more likely to reach proficiency and succeed mathematically.

These math fact games will be used during small group instruction and math centers to provide a fun and exciting option for practicing and mastering math facts.

In our classroom, we have a year-long competition called “Math Fact Masters Among Us” in which students earn Among Us badges when they reach 85% proficiency in Multiplication and Division. With these fun games, I’m confident that students will earn their badges as well as gain confidence in their ability and math skills.
