Math Fact Fun

Help me give my students a leg up on math. The math folder games, the pushbutton practice, and the flashcards that look like the comparison bars we teach will reinforce the practice and lessons the children need.

My Students

My students are stinking cute and love to try new things. They get very engaged when something involves the computer. Some children don't have access to much or any computer use at home, so it's very engaging here. They are very motivated to work on projects. Our school is a safe and comfortable place for them to come and feel a part of a group. They are thriving when feeling safe amongst friends, having the materials they need to feel successful.

My Project

My students are in need of knowing their math facts - addition and subtraction - at this second-grade level. My students will be noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given the opportunity to learn in this direct game fun way.

The students are in need of much practice, and this will provide individual and partner practice to memorize the facts.

Knowing their math facts with automaticity is a needed skill to progress in math because not having the facts memorized slows down further math work both in class in real-life situations.
