My Project

These math activities will help my students have hands on materials to use. Children will be able to hold and explore the 3D shapes which will help them learn the different shape vocabulary. Children will be able to count the number of faces, edges, and vertices. They will also have the opportunity to label these shapes.

The scale will give the students an opportunity to learn the terms equal, heavier, and lighter.

It allows them an opportunity to play and learn using this new vocabulary they are learning everyday. It is a wonderful opportunity for more hands on learning!
