Math Everyday

Help me give my students the daily calendar tool to allow daily practical math practice and the speaker they need to access the curriculum and succeed in the second grade curriculum!

My Students

My students are diverse, enthusiastic, bright kids eager to learn. Our strength as a school is our diversity. We each bring our unique experiences to one school and one classroom where all learners feel safe to express their thinking and learning in many different ways. My students ages range from 6-8 years of age. They come from all walks of life and family dynamics. They need nurturing, encouragement and a goal mindset. My students love art and movement as well as science and technology as we are STEMM school.

My Project

The speaker is an essential teaching and learning tool for all subjects. I often use applications such as BrainPOP Jr. to show students virtual science experiments, math demo lessons, and more. The daily calendar activity board and number of the day board will help students practice basic math skills on a daily basis which will help them become very proficient with repetition of practice. The styluses are vital because each student has a iPad one which all homework and some classwork will be completed on. The primary writing board is vital for modeling proper printing and writing skills which is lacking after a year of distance learning.
