Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students struggle with math because they find it difficult to connect numbers and symbols to real-world applications.
To support my students in mastering mathematical concepts, I am requesting funding for engaging and hands-on math learning materials that will make abstract concepts more tangible and accessible.
These materials include manipulatives, visual aids, flash cards and differentiated learning resources tailored to meet the diverse needs of my middle school students.
Many of them thrive when given opportunities to interact with math in creative and hands-on ways. With the right resources, they can develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and gain the confidence needed to excel.
