My Students

I teach at a school in a great neighborhood. My school is located in a beautiful city at the bottom of a beautiful mountain range. From the gym, one whole side is complete windows, and all you see are the mountains. My school is 54 years old and still has many upgrades needed. It's an old school, with old furniture.

My students are all about the growth mindset.

We strive to learn from our mistakes. We do hard things.

We work hard to provide opportunities for our kids to learn about the world and how to be successful. We strive every day to help each other and do the best that we can! We are also big fans of Harry Potter.

My Project

In my class, I teach small group, differentiated math groups. These groups change from day-to-day. In order for these groups to be successful, students need a math program that they can use, on their own, on their level. This math program, I Know It Math, will do just that for my students.

Whether my students are in the classroom, or at home, they need a math program that they can work on to help further their math knowledge and skills.

This program will help students review previous math concepts, filling in any holes they may have. Especially with how the previous school year ended, this math program will be even more essential for student learning.

My classroom also needs a portable projector. Because I teach in math groups, I need a portable projector that I can use when teaching my small groups. This will allow students to see examples and videos instead of just me writing something on the board.
